With the 2008/09 season completed we will be having a well earned break.
For those players interested in trialling for any of the Bromley FC Youth teams please visit the corresponding team page from the "The Teams" menu on the left.
Thanks to everyones hard work over the past season and we are looking forward to supporting the players again in the upcoming season.
The Committee.
Sunday saw the final games of the 2008/09 season for our Under 13's, 14's, 15,s and 16,s at Goals Beckenham North.
Our U18's had finished on Wednesday evening & our U14 SELKENT squad two weeks ago.
We have one remaining fixture for our U10's in the SELKENT League and the season will be complete.
Thanks to all the management teams, players and spectators for all their efforts.
Presentation Night is on Saturday 30th May at the Club and we hope that everyone will turn out one last time in support of the 2008/09 Teams
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Richard Ruoff.
Richard and his company Protectall are the sponsors of both our U15 & U16 teams this season.
Protectall have, for the past 5 seasons, been our printer and embroiderer for both the Youth Section, and on occasion the Senior Club.
Our thoughts are with Cheryl and all of Richards family & friends at this sad time.
As a mark of respect all Youth teams will observe a minutes silence before Sundays games on 10th May.
Richard Kemp
Youth Secretary
Bromley Football Club Youth Section is now approaching its seventh year with the start of the 2008/09 season. We started in 2002/03 with two teams and for the 2008/09 season we have teams representing Bromley FC in the Valley Express Kent Youth League at U13, U14, U15, U16 & U18 Levels and SelKent League at U14 & U10 Levels.
VISIT OUR CLUB NEWS PAGE FOR ALL THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE YOUTH SECTION
BROMLEY FC ACADEMY Bromley Football Club also runs an Academy Squad, in conjunction with Kelsey Park Sports College. This is controlled by the Senior Club and although we have some details on our DEVELOPMENT TEAM Page, all enquiries should be made via the Senior Club at www.bromleyfc.net
BROMLEY FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY The Senior Club alo run a Football in the Community Scheme and details of this can be found on the SOCCER SCHOOL page. Again all enquiries should be made via the Senior Club at www.bromleyfc.net
YOUTH SECTION BACKGROUND As well as experiencing success within the Youth Section many of our players also represent their District and County. Many over the seasons have also been approached and signed for Academy's and Centre of Excellence Football League Clubs.
As a committee we are trying to provide the best we can for these young players of the future, many who live in the Borough of Bromley. To have the support of Bromley FC Chairman, Jerry Dolke, has helped us enormously over the past few seasons.
We run separate to the Senior Club as far as financing is concerned and we are a voluntary organisation, with all funds raised going towards the costs of kits, pitches, equipment and training facilities. All of our Committee are fully committed and all work on a voluntary basis.
We will endeavour to keep the website as up to date as possible and this will give us a much wider exposure and will benefit all Youth Members by giving up to date results and details of the teams.
